New 'Pride of Somerset' Youth Awards
Somerset's finest young people are to be recognised with the launch of a new £1,000 award scheme.
The Somerset County Gazette newspaper has teamed up with the Rotary Club of Taunton and Orchard FM to launch the Pride of Somerset Youth Awards.
More than £1,000 in prize money will be presented to the winners - young people from the county who do something special to make them stand out from the crowd.
You can nominate young people, under the age of 20, who deserve a special pat on the back for their outstanding efforts. They might care for a relative in need, or have captained a successful sports team or have kept a smile on their face through an illness. They might have raised money for charity, gone the extra mile at school or spent their own time helping others.
