Belinda Ollis's excellent blog has some photos of the BBC1 series ‘The High Street’ being filmed, which recreates period shop and street scenes in the town.
Latest news - the programme has moved to the 1970's, on Tuesday 24th August, there will be a special guest appearance in the square by a Eurovision winning band from the 70’s, and on Wednesday 25th August celebrate the Silver Jubilee - come on down and take a look.
People in Shepton are currently planning how they can make the most of the series when its aired and afterwards.
Belinda's blog includes other news on the town's development, highlights other businesses as well as promoting her own. A good example of local businesspeople getting engaged in the wider marketing of a town.
