Service Directory launched
SMTF has created a database of over 50 providers of specialist services for community groups involved in improving their towns.
It includes organisations and individuals who can deliver the following services to those in the Community and Voluntary Sector;
Business Planning, Funding Advice, Market Research, Community Planning, Community Development, Project Development, Training for volunteers, Marketing & PR and Legal Services.
The providers range from Local Authorities to Agencies, community Trusts to Consultants.
Organisations/groups involved in improving Market Towns and large villages can request this information for FREE from Somerset Market Towns Forum by emailing info@somersetmarkettowns.co.uk and including the type of service they would like to access.
SMTF Coordinator, Matt Day, said ‘This Directory will become a valuable resource to groups engaged in regeneration in Somerset. It’s a shortcut to experienced people who have worked with community groups before, and its just one example of the kind of information sharing we do at SMTF’.
